This one-course certificate program is designed to provide students with the essential skills needed to pass the Linux Professional Institute's (LPI) Linux Essentials certification exam. The LPI Linux Essentials certification is a globally recognized credential that demonstrates a student's understanding of the fundamental concepts of the Linux operating system and open source software.
Students will learn about the history and development of Linux, as well as the principles of open source software. They will also learn about the Linux command line, file system structure, and basic system administration tasks. Additionally, students will be introduced to key concepts such as security, networking, and system configuration.
