Description:
The Automotive Technology: Transmission Specialist Skills Certificate offers an in-depth study of automotive drivetrain systems, including operation, diagnosis, service and overhaul of most automotive automatic and manual transmissions and trans axles, drive axles and all wheel drive systems. Diagnosis of modern drivetrain systems is emphasized.
The certificate prepares students to pass the A2 and A3 ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification exams.
Upon successful completion of this program, the student will be able to:
- Inspect, evaluate, diagnose and repair automotive drivetrain components.
