Applied Music (Individual Instruction): Voice |
Description: | Individual studio instruction in voice for the development of performance skills. Each week students will take a 30-minute individual lesson and complete five hours of on-campus practice. Each semester students will perform at least once in a Recital Hour and sing a juried performance for a faculty committee as a final exam. Designed for Music majors who are able to perform at college level. |
Prerequisites: | Concurrent enrollment in Diction and Repertoire (MUSC 18.1, 18.2, 18.3, or 18.4);
AND
either Concert Choir (MUSCP 21A, B, C, or D) OR Chamber Singers (MUSCP 23A, B, C, or D) |
Recommended Preparation: | Completion of or Concurrent Enrollment in Music Theory (MUSC 2A, B, C, or D) AND Musicianship (MUSC 3A, B, C, or D) |

| Auditions for Applied Music will be held on Friday, August 23 at 1pm. New students sign up in the Music office for an audition slot. Returning students contact the instructor for an add code. |
