Important Information About This Class:

This class will have a mandatory synchronous orientation via Zoom on Thursday, 8/11, from 6:30-8:00pm. There will be 3 additional mandatory synchronous Zoom meetings from 6:30-8:00pm on Thursday, 8/18, Thursday, 8/25, and Thursday, 9/1. There will also be required field trips to a Lake Sonoma observing site (you must provide your own transportation) from 6pm-midnight on Friday, 8/19, Saturday, 8/20, Friday, 8/26 and Saturday, 8/27. This compressed, four-week long class will have approximately 6 hours per week of online, asynchronous content. If any field trips are cancelled due to inclement weather or other unforeseen circumstances, alternate versions of the field trip activities will be completed asynchronously online instead. Course Fee of $12 covers lab manual and star wheel given to students.
