Description:

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT-1) Refresher Skills Certificate provides updated skills for individiuals holding the EMT-1 certificate, in compliance with the requirements outlined by the State of California Administrative Code. Every two years, all certified EMT's are required to complete a refresher program course to maintain their certification.

The program utilizes basic principles learned as an EMT in the exploration & solving of problems in the pre-hospital setting. Completion of this certificate will fulfill California Emergency Medical Standards Authority testing mandates.
