1. Analyze the potential impacts that conventional textile production and garment manufacturing
    have on the environment.
2. Understand zero waste garment design and pattern techniques.
3. Alter and repurpose garments to achieve desired fit and style.

3. Research project and presentation: zero waste or upcycle designer
 
Lab assignments:
 
1. Construct 5-6 machine and hand-sewn alteration, fastener, and hem sample assignments
2. Complete 1-2 alteration project(s): applying basic to advance deconstruction and construction
    techniques, on various categories of garments
3. Complete 1-2 repurposing project(s)
