2. Employ grammar, writing, speaking, and listening skills to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals, patients, and their families in a given healthcare setting.
3. Apply vocabulary, medical terminology, and culturally appropriate language to communicate in the healthcare industry.

3. Use critical thinking and inference to discuss implications of a topic to the medical and health community and patients.
4. Demonstrate use of advanced grammar structures to generate questions for information gathering and make statements for explaining procedures to healthcare professionals and patients.
5. Write on a given topic using appropriate grammar structures.
6. Use contextual clues to determine meaning of vocabulary words.
7. Utilize affixes and roots to determine meaning of medical terminology.
