Outcomes and Objectives:
At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

  The student will:

     1. Demonstrate a knowledge of anatomy of the horse from the

        knee down.

     2. Perform basic training of the hoof.

     3. Identify 5 unsoundnesses of the hoof.

     4. Have a basic understanding of terms used in shoeing.
