At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

1. Students will be able to demonstrate the responsibilities of an actor in the creation and performance of ensemble roles.

At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:
1. Create and sustain the physical, vocal, and behavioral components of multiple characters within multiple styles of plays and musicals concurrently.
2. Incorporate the musical elements of singing and dancing in the performance of ensemble roles.
3. Adapt to the stimulation and input of live audiences while maintaining focus and concentration during an extended run.
4. Reproduce a successful characterization in multiple performances presented during an extended run.
5. Demonstrate professionalism, including preparation, punctuality, and attendance.

II. Basic Staging and Blocking
    A. Ability to repeat actions and choices from previous rehearsals

    C. Sight lines and upstaging
III. Basic Memorization Skills, Including:

    D. Blocking in a shortened rehearsal period
IV. Vocal techniques
    A. Articulation

V.  Incorporation of basic musical theatre elements
    A. Sight reading
    B. Choreography

VI. Working with professional technical/design elements and staff
    A. Conductor
    B. Props
    C. Costumes

    H. Stage management
    I. Technical rehearsal procedures

1. Prepare rehearsal material in a timely manner as required by the production schedule:
    A.  Complete script and character analysis and research work, revising as needed during the rehearsal process.
    B.  Record, review, and retain blocking.
    C.  Accurately memorize lines and cues by the scheduled deadline.
2.  Attend all scheduled rehearsals for which the actor is called.
3.  Respond dependably to time commitments outside of rehearsals:
