    Code of Ethical Conduct and the Ten Program Standards.
2.  Describe steps to achieving family child care home licensure.
3.  Identify the State guidelines for health, safety, and nutrition in family child care settings.

1. Define elements of program quality through the Ten Program Standards developed by
    NAEYC.
2. Discuss the core values of NAEYC's Code of Ethical Conduct.
3. Access NAEYC's online resources.
4. Explain the FCCERS-R (Family Child Care Environment Rating Scale--Revised) rating scale.
5. Identify state licensing requirements.
6. Locate resources to obtain a license in the State of California.
7. List key traits for passing inspection.
8. Develop strategies for designing a safe and supportive learning environment.
9. Discuss age-appropriate healthy nutritional choices for children ages 0-8.
10. Develop a weekly menu of healthy nutritional choices for two different early childhood age
    groups.
