COURSE CONTENT

Outcomes and Objectives:
At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

The students will:
1. Complete self-assessment test similar to the National and State
   Registry examinations.
2. Demonstrate the knowledge of Radiology Program subject matters by
   successful completion of all review and self-assessment testing with a
  minimum of 75% accuracy
3. Complete the construction of a professional portfolio.

Topics and Scope

1. Thorough review of all radiographic positioning, principles and
   operation of ancillary equipment, radiographic tubes and
   fluoroscopic equipment.
2. Assessment of knowledge in anatomical body parts and their
   pathologies.
3. Testing for competency through practice Registry & State licensing
   examinations.
4. In-classroom review of the entire curriculum of Radiologic Technology.
5. Resume making, parts and documents of a professional portfolio.
