At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

1.   Construct body flower arrangements utilizing appropriate techniques and materials.

2.   Explain methods of preparing materials used for body flower arrangements.

3.   Describe the different types of body flowers and their appropriate use as related to customer needs.

2.  Construct a variety of body flower arrangements utilizing appropriate techniques and materials.

3.  Explain methods of conditioning and pre-care of materials used for body flower arrangements.

Assignments:

1. Construct a variety of wearable flower arrangements including:

   a. boutonnieres

   b. corsages

   c. hairpieces

   d. leis

   e. nosegays

2. Portfolio: Assemble photos of weekly design projects with accompanying journal entries listing materials and describing methods for each project.

3. 1-2 Quizzes.

4. Final project: construct a corsage and a boutonniere.
