At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
1.  Describe the different types of body flowers and their history.
2.  Construct a variety of body flower arrangements utilizing appropriate techniques and materials.
3.  Explain methods of conditioning and pre-care of materials used for body flower arrangements.
4.  Properly package completed body flower arrangements.
5.  Based on subsequent repeats:
    a.  work with different seasonal materials
    b.  increase skill with assembly and design principles
    c.  gain confidence and speed

1. Construct a variety of wearable flower arrangements including:
   a. boutonnieres
   b. corsages
   c. hairpieces
   d. leis
   e. nosegays
2. Portfolio: Assemble photos of weekly design projects with accompanying journal entries listing materials and describing methods for each project.
3. 1-2 Quizzes.
4. Final project: construct a corsage and a boutonniere.
5. Reading, 5-10 pages per week.
6. Repeating students are expected to improve skills, enhance designs, use seasonal products, and produce projects with increased speed.
