Outcomes and Objectives:
At the conclusion of this course, the student should be able to:

By the end of this course students will be able to:
1. Demonstrate appropriate medical communication to patients and
  other personnel in a medical imaging department.
2. Demonstrate proper practices of body mechanics, medical and
  surgical asepsis, and infection control.
3. Demonstrate proper handling of drainage, endotracheal, urinary
  and other tubes.
4. Obtain accurate vital signs.
5. Demonstrate safe transfer of patients with special needs.
6. Assist radiologist and radiologic technologist in the administration
  of barium enema, emergency medications, contrast media and
  intravenous infusions.
