Open entry/open exit course that allows the student to work at his/her own pace in learning and/or reviewing punctuation and capitalization skills for business writing. Students will review ending marks, commas, apostrophes, quotations marks, colons, and simicolons. Students will review capitalizing proper nouns, names of places, and names of things. Students must meet with an instructor one assigned hour each week. Additional work completed during open lab hours. Takes 24 hours to complete.

2. Understand the difference among and use properly commas that separate,
commas that connect two complete thoughts, and commas that set
aside words.
3. Correctly use apostrophe and direct quotation marks.
4. Correctly use the colon and semicolon.
5. Understand and use capitalization of proper nouns, names of places,
and names of things.
