2. Manage a standard workflow project using Adobe Bridge
3. Control a project of versions and alternates using Adobe Bridge
4. Manage and install OpenType fonts
5. Prepare Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop assets for integration into
InDesign
6. Coordinate resources from imported documents from Microsoft Office and
other applications
7. Design and create an interactive PDF (Portable Document Format)slidesho

13. Create different documents each semester, building on their
skill level and employing the unique features of new versions of
the software.
Assignments:

1. Design an InDesign workflow involving Illustrator,
Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat
2. Create an InDesign brochure and prepare it for 6 different PDF output
scenarios
3. Create 2 versions and 1 alternate of an InDesign document
4. Create an interactive PDF from a 3-5 page InDesign report that includes
bookmarks, hyperlinks, buttons, rollovers, movies and sounds
5. Create an Acrobat PDF form based from InDesign with imported Word
tables
6. Using XML, share a magazine article between two InDesign documents
7. Create a 1-page InDesign newsletter and then transfer its contents to a
web page
8. Produce a multi-program integrated project and share data using Adobe
Bridge snippets metadata
9. Produce a multi-program integrated project and use color management to
print consistent color in all programs
10. Create a 3-5 page catalog with imported tagged text and automatically
applied text styles
11. Work with a fictitious client to complete the editing of an InDesign
source document by setting up and participating in an Acrobat review
cycle
12. Create a custom workflow project using four Adobe programs and present
a flowchart of its development using an Acrobat slideshow
13. Take examinations, including at least two tests and a final exam
14. The projects created by students repeating the Adobe Workflow Projects
course will be held to higher standards. The repeating student must
complete more complex documents and demonstrate facility with new
features of the software.
