Description:
The Automotive Technology: Brakes, Steering and Suspension Specialist Skills Certificate offers an in-depth study of drivetrain systems, including operation, diagnosis, service and overhaul of most automatic and manual transmissions and trans axles, drive axles and all wheel drive systems. Diagnosis of modern drivetrain systems is emphasized.
The certificate prepares students to pass the A2 and A3 ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certification exams.
Program Student Learning Outcomes
Upon successful completion of this certificate, the student will be able to:
- Demonstrate the knowledge needed to pass the A.S.E. Brake, Suspension, and Steering certificate exams.
