Description:

The Solar Photovoltaics: Basics certificate of achievement is comprised of industry-driven courses focused on the development of introductory skills and knowledge used in the installation, design and sales of solar photovoltaic systems.

Program Student Learning Outcomes:

Upon successful completion of this program, the student will be able to:

  1. Have a general understanding of the various roles and responsibilities of people working in the solar photovoltaic and related industries.
  2. Identify and propose remedy for unsafe workspace conditions.
  3. Describe in general, the components, tools, and installation methods used for installation of grid tie residential solar photovoltaic systems.
