1. Identify different types of knit fabrics and their weights and stretch ratios.
2. Apply basic fitting and construction techniques for knits.
3. Select suitable patterns and fabrics for a variety of knit garments.
4. Employ machine skills for working with knits on computerized sewing machines, sergers, and
cover-stitch machines.
5. Assemble beginning to advanced knit garments implementing techniques unique to knit
garment construction.

4. Construct an activewear garment using industry machine skills.
