Students are required to have a suitable computer, reliable internet access, and a functioning webcam that has both video and audio capabilities. SRJC does have a first-come-first-served laptop loaner program through SRJC Student Services. Cell phones and most tablets are not suitable for this course. Computers must be capable of running AutoCAD Civil 3D 2021 (the minimum system requirements can be found here), a web browser, Zoom, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat. Please note that Civil 3D 2021 requires Windows 10 and WILL NOT run on a Mac OS. Please do not attempt to run on a Mac using Parallels, Bootcamp, or the equivalent - Civil 3D will not be stable or reliable, and the CESGT Program does not support those installations. Students will be on their own and the class will not wait or make allowances in this regard. Active synchronous visible participation and attendance are required for the entire duration of all lectures and online labs.
