Description: | An introduction to the sewing techniques and garment construction skills used in fashion design and apparel production. Students will learn fundamental skills such as fabric selection, pressing, and operation of a sewing machine in order to construct a variety of samples and finished garments. |

| This class will have live class meetings ONLINE in Zoom each week on Wednesdays from 12:00-1:00pm. Additional course content is delivered asynchronously in Canvas including demonstration videos, assignment instructions, and written lecture material. Students will complete multiple lab assignments each week. Sewing machines are available for students to borrow for the semester.
