Basic Biology Skills
Description:Introductory course to develop skills necessary for completion of Introduction to Principles of Biology (BIO 10). Course is designed for students who have not developed the skills necessary for successful completion of college transfer-level science courses. Class will apply basic study skills to the understanding of biological elements in living systems, from the level of atoms to ecosystems. A specific focus topic such as water will be used to relate learning skills to specific biological information.
Recommended Preparation:Eligibility for ENGL 100 or ENGL 102 or ESL 100
Repeatability:Two Repeats if Grade was D, F, NC, or NP
Fee:$6.00

 This is a late start class. This section involves MANDATORY live zoom meetings during the times listed above. To participate in this class, students must have a computer with reliable internet, webcam, and microphone. Students will be required to pick up their reader from the Biology Department on campus. For those unable to pick up in-person, PDF links to the reader will be provided by the instructor.
