Description: | The course builds on the foundation of skills and knowledge learned in both American Sign Language 1 and 2 (ASL 1 and 2) and increases and expands comprehension, production, and conversational strategies as covered in ASL 1 and 2. Students will learn more complex grammatical features through narratives and dialogues and they will increase their knowledge of both linguistic and cultural content. |

| Mandatory Availability for Zoom Meetings: The instructor will schedule at least, an hour-long live Zoom meeting within the days/times listed. Students are expected to make themselves available online with a functioning internet, mic, and camera for the duration of the live session. More details will be provided in the syllabus distributed by the instructor. The Language Lab in Emeritus Rm 1525 is available Tues & Thurs 12 - 5pm. This Lab is equipped with full computer lab workstations and free internet access to support you with your online and in-person language classes. Students using the Language Lab are required to meet the vaccine mandate requirements and to check in at a Safety Monitor station before entering. |
