MUSCP 42D Jazz Combo Ensemble 4 Description: The study and performance of classic and contemporary works for jazz combo. Emphasis is on the understanding of chord/scale relationships and the introduction of odd and compound meters. Students are divided into three combos of four to eight musicians each. The combos give 3-5 public performances per semester.
