MUSC 1 Music Fundamentals Description: The course is designed for students with little or no formal training in music, or prospective Music majors who lack the music reading skills for MUSC 2A/3A. Students are introduced to basic musical concepts, terminology, and music reading. Topics include rhythm, scales, intervals, chords, key signatures, and the circle of fifths.
