Description: | A combined elementary and intermediate algebra course that incorporates the use of graphing technology. Topics include functions, equations and inequalities in one variable, systems of linear equations in two and three variables, exponential and logarithmic functions and equations, and conic sections. |
Prerequisites: | Completion of CSKLS 373 or CSKLS 372 or AB705 placement into Math Tier 1 or higher |

| This is a hybrid format course with REQUIRED in person attendance on Tuesdays from 11am-12:30pm and asynchronous instruction the rest of the week. A graphing calculator (TI-83 or TI-84 recommended), paid access to online course materials, access to specific technology or apps/software, and use of Canvas are required. The final exam will be in person. Math 154 is an intensive 8-unit course. Students in this class typically spend 25-30 hours per week attending class, watching lecture videos, reading the textbook, and working out homework problems. |
