Mathematics Preparation for Statistics and Liberal Arts
Description:Survey of fundamental algebra topics, probability and exploratory data analysis needed to prepare students for transfer-level statistics and liberal arts mathematics courses. Advisory: This course is NOT intended for math, science, computer science, business, or engineering majors.
Prerequisites:Completion of MATH 150 or MATH 151 or MATH 150B or AB705 placement into Math Tier 1 or higher
Repeatability:Two Repeats if Grade was D, F, NC, or NP

 The above section is a hybrid class which combines in person instruction with online learning. Classes meet in person Wednesdays 10:30am-12pm on the Petaluma campus and online synchronous Mondays 10:30am-12pm. Attendance is REQUIRED for in-person and synchronous meetings. There will be an additional one hour of remote lecture/class activities occurring asynchronously. Remote classes/lectures are recorded and posted for only enrolled students to view. Requires a graphing calculator and accessing online material or software. The final exam will be in person.
