Description: | The study and performance of classic and contemporary works for jazz combo. Emphasis is on the development of improvisational and performance skills. Students are divided into three combos of four to eight musicians, each focusing on 4-5 jazz compositions. The combos give 3-5 public performances per semester. |

| Spring 2021 Update: Students will work on jazz performance skills by playing electronically with the instructor and performing for other students in preparation for a return to public performances. Students who have exceeded 4 enrollments in any ABCD performance ensemble will need a Petition for Course Repetition to register. |
