Clothing Construction 1
Description:This clothing construction class is designed to provide the student with basic sewing skills, fitting and alteration techniques of a commercial pattern, knowledge of basic sewing equipment, and pressing techniques appropriate for the pattern design and fabric selected. Projects and samples required.

 Mandatory Zoom meetings will take place for each class session starting at the days/time(s) listed and running for 1 to 3 hours. Students are expected to be online with a functioning mic, and/or camera for the live session. In addition, course content, lecture and demonstration videos will be posted in Canvas for students to access outside of class time. A Sewing Machine, iron, and sewing supplies are required to complete course assignments. Please contact the Program Coordinator if you do not have access to a sewing machine. More details will be provided in the syllabus distributed by the instructor.
