Description: | A study of ethnic literature in America. Reading, discussion and analysis of trends in the literature of three of the following United States ethnic groups: Native American, European American, Asian American, African American, Latino American, Middle Eastern American. The course will emphasize the cultural issues that shape each ethnic literature, as well as its special contributions to American literature overall. |
