Description: | A survey course providing an introduction to the Earth sciences, including geology, oceanography, meteorology, and astronomy. This course focuses on the interactions between various Earth systems such as plate tectonics, the hydrologic cycle, the rock cycle, weather and climate, and Earth's place in the universe. This course is primarily designed for those intending to pursue an elementary teacher education program. |

| This class will be conducted in a blended format that includes weekly Zoom meetings on Thursdays from 12:00-1:00pm. All synchronous meetings will be recorded & made available to students. The rest of the scheduled hours will be conducted asynchronously. Office hours and additional optional review sessions to be flexibly scheduled around students’ availability each week. This is a late start class. It will start two weeks late and it does not meet during finals week. Late start classes are open to all students. |
