MUSCP 42B Jazz Combo Ensemble 2 Description: The study and performance of classic and contemporary works for jazz combo. Emphasis is on the development of a rhythmic and melodic vocabulary consistent with mainstream jazz practice. Students are divided into three combos of four to eight musicians each. The combos give 3-5 public performances per semester.
