MUSCP 32C Jazz Band 3 Description: The SRJC Jazz Band is dedicated to the rehearsal and performance of classic and contemporary literature for large jazz ensemble. Designed for experienced musicians who are able to perform at the college level. The emphasis is on the incorporation of stylistically and harmonically appropriate improvisation within the big band medium. The band performs at least two major public concerts per semester, which may include an off-campus festival performance.
