MUSCP 42C Jazz Combo Ensemble 3 Description: The study and performance of classic and contemporary works for jazz combo. Emphasis is on development of improvisatory fluency in the styles of Bop, Cool, and Hard Bop. Students are divided into three combos of four to eight musicians each. The combos give 3-5 public performances per semester.
