Description: | This class examines the origin and evolution of the ancient societies of Mesoamerica through the anthropological perspective. Archaeological, cultural, and ethnohistoric evidence is used to examine such aspects of Mesoamerican life as religion, politics, economics, art and architecture, and social organization. |
