Description: | A lower division discrete mathematics course including formal logic, Boolean logic and logic circuits, mathematical induction, introduction to number theory, set theory, principles of combinatorics, functions, relations, recursion, algorithm efficiency and graph theory. |
Prerequisites: | Completion of MATH 27 or higher (MATH); OR Course Completion of MATH 25 and MATH 58; OR appropriate placement based on AB 705 mandates |

| The above section is a class which combines Zoom instruction with online learning. Classes meet on Zoom Mondays to Thursday from 10am to noon with an additional 16-28 hours per week for required online learning activities. Students must have regular access to the internet and a familiarity with using online learning tools. Attendance at the Zoom class is mandatory during the first week of the term. The above section requires consistent access to the internet for online course materials. |
