Description:A series of lectures, readings, and classroom discussions on topics of environmental concern including an introduction to the field of environmental studies, four to six guest lectures on various environmental topics, and an introduction to employment opportunities within the field. Presentations given by guest lecturers. Topics change from semester to semester.
Recommended Preparation:Eligibility for ENGL 1A or equivalent

 The Environmental Forum meets 12 times over the course of the semester on the following dates: 1/15, 1/29, 2/5, 2/19, 2/26, 3/11, 3/25, 4/1, 4/15, 4/22, 5/6 & 5/13. The final meeting date takes place on 5/13 and the class does not meet during finals week.
