Supervised Field Experience for Dietetic Technician 2 |
Description: | Application of nutrition and dietetics concepts to development of entry-level skills for the Registered Dietetic Technician. The course includes supervised field experience in non-inpatient food and nutrition service programs as well as approved field experience in a rotation to complete training for entry level job skills, as required by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics. |
Prerequisites: | Course Completion of DIET 70, DIET 50, DIET 57, DIET 176 and COUN 91; OR Course Completion of FDNT 70, DIET 50, DIET 57, DIET 176 and COUN 91 |
Repeatability: | Two Repeats if Grade was D, F, NC, or NP |

| The above section will meet 9:30-11:30am every other week. In addition, students are required to meet an average of 12 hours per week for individual supervised field experience. |
