SOC 30 Race and Ethnic Relations Description: The sociological study of race and ethnicity in the United States. The course takes a comparative approach in analyzing group interaction, prejudice, privilege, and discrimination. Students will explore the history of immigration, the process of assimilation, and dominant-minority relations over time.
