MUSCP 42A Jazz Combo Ensemble 1 Description: The study and performance of classic and contemporary works for jazz combo. Emphasis is on the development of improvisational and performance skills. Students are divided into three combos of four to eight musicians, each focusing on 4-5 jazz compositions. The combos give 3-5 public performances per semester.
