| Description: | A beginning photography class emphasizing comprehension and application of basic elements and concepts of black and white photography. Topics include controlled use of the camera and printing techniques for optimum technical and aesthetic values. Students will develop an understanding of the creative process, visual literacy and photographic theory through lectures, assignments and class critiques. Students must have a 35mm camera with manual controls. |
