| Description: | This course provides the student with the basics in the prevention and management of medical emergencies in the dental practice. Emphasis is on the recognition of clinical signs and symptoms of emergencies and the prevention of emergency escalation. The management of medical emergencies is outlined along with drugs and equipment utilized in an emergency. |
