PHARM 255 Comprehensive Pharmacology Update Description: This course examines the basis for pharmacological treatment of common disease states. Selected drug classifications will be discussed with emphasis on pharmacokinetics and dynamics, mechanisms of action, clinical use, adverse reactions, drug interactions, contraindications, patient education and compliance. Intended for students in the Associate Degree Nursing, Licensed Vocational Nurse, Psychiatric Technician, and Pharmacy Technician programs.
