NRV 51L Fundamentals & Basic Vocational Nursing Clinical Experience Description: This is the first clinical course in the VN program. Fundamental principles learned in co-requisite theory and skills courses are applied in the care of adult patients in acute/sub-acute medical-surgical Alzheimer/respite day health and a variety of ancillary health care related settings. Bio-psycho-social-cultural-spiritual health/nursing concepts are explored as they apply to individually assigned patients.
