Applied Music (Individual Instruction): Brass |
Description: | Individual studio instruction in trumpet, French horn, trombone, baritone, or tuba for the development of performance skills. Each week students will take a 30-minute individual lesson and complete five hours of on-campus practice. Each semester students will perform at least once in a Recital Hour and play a juried performance for a faculty committee as a final exam. Designed for Music majors who are able to perform at college level. |
Prerequisites: | Concurrent Enrollment in MUSCP 30A, B, C, or D; OR MUSCP 32A, B, C, or D; OR MUSCP 42A, B, C, or D |
Recommended Preparation: | Course Completion or Concurrent Enrollment in MUSC 2A, B, C, or D and MUSC 3A, B, C, or D |
