HLC 121 Health Careers Academy I Description: This course is designed to introduce students to healthcare and healthcare careers through lecture. Career exploration will focus on the following health career profiles: medical-surgical, laboratory, pharmacy services, diagnostic imaging, and health information. Anatomy and physiology will be introduced with a focus on the cardiovascular and nervous systems.
