EMC 130B Paramedic II - Medical Emergencies Description: Second course in a series leading to the completion of paramedic didactic training. Emphasis is on assessment and treatment of cardiac and other medical emergencies in the pre-hospital environment. Meets standards for both the California Health and Safety Code, Title 22 and the National Emergency Medical Services Education Standards (NEMSES) as published by U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT). Prerequisites: Concurrent Enrollment in EMC 130A, EMC 130C, EMC 130D and EMC 131A (Students must successfully complete each prior course in the sequence to avoid having to repeat the entire sequence.)
