| This section is a hybrid-online class. Students will attend five mandatory Zoom meetings from 4-10 PM on the following Mondays: 6/23, 6/30, 7/14, and 7/21 to give and listen to speeches. The rest of the coursework will be completed asynchronously starting with a required Canvas check in, no later than Tuesday, 6/17, to complete daily asynchronous assignments. Due to the nature of both verbal and nonverbal communication, students are required to be on video for the entirety of each Zoom and GoReact session. Enrollment also requires a solid internet connection, Google Chrome, updated system software, and modern hardware to be able to use GoReact, Zoom, and Canvas. Your ability to troubleshoot your own connectivity is mandatory. |

This course is an in-person class with online asynchronous components. Students will attend seven 3-hour classes, MW on 6/16, 6/18, 6/23, 6/25, 6/30, 7/2, and 7/9. The remainder of the coursework will be completed asynchronously. BE AWARE THAT THE ACCELERATED FORMAT NECESSITATES 7-10 HOURS OF ASYNCHRONOUS COURSEWORK WEEKLY, IN ADDITION TO ASSIGNMENTS, READINGS AND IN-PERSON CLASSES.
