AUTO 156.1 Automotive Electrical System Description: In this course, students will explore the operation, diagnosis and repair of automotive electrical and electronic systems. In addition, students will explore techniques of troubleshooting, service, and repair of starting, charging, and other chassis and body electrical systems. Students will also be introduced to computer controlled systems. This course prepares students to take the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) A6 Electrical/Electronics Certification. This course conforms with National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation (NATEF) instructional guidelines.
