AJ 351 Emergency Vehicle Operations Description: This course is designed to train peace officers in the areas of technical driving on a skills course, collision avoidance simulations, and skid control techniques based on the requirements set forth by the California Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST). Emergency response and pursuit driving are also covered during this course. Each of the behind-the-wheel exercises is designed to improve current driving skills and develop confidence during emergency vehicle operation.
